On a whim, and out of nowhere, my human decided I should do a tarot card reading! Well, as you can see, I do have the scratcher house for it. And she owns several decks of cat themed tarot cards. So she grabbed the handiest one, which happened to be this Tarot of Pagan Cats deck. And here we are.
To make it easy on me — and because she hasn’t looked at tarot cards in a long time — she only used the Major Arcana. And she said I only needed to pick one card, and it would be an overall reading for the month of April.
With the help of some magic dust (in other words, catnip and freeze dried chicken crumbles), I picked a card. You’ll never believe what I chose!
It’s the Emperor! Which is totally appropriate, since April is the month of Aries, and the Emperor is a strong leadership card, much like the Sun Sign Ram.
So it’s no surprise that the Emperor cat is telling you to forge ahead with your big ideas in April! It’s time to wrestle your wildest dreams into reality! You will feel more confident and in charge, so take advantage of that. And your dealings with figures in authority should be good too. So ask for that raise, or that favor. You’ll find it easier to do that this month. The one caution is that Mercury will be retrograde for most of April, so even while you are charging towards any goals, consider putting off signing any contracts until mid-May. On the plus side, Mercury retrograde also brings up past ideas, contacts and friends, so you may find your Emperor power by revisiting past endeavors.
